Careers Advice and Guidance Services
At each stage of your education – and indeed your working life - you are asked to make decisions which will
determine your future direction. Which GCSE options should you take? Should you take the IB or A Levels in
the 6th form? What about a BTEC course? Which subjects should you choose? Should you apply to
university and if so what should you study? How can you be sure to meet the entry requirements for your
chosen degree course or career?
Sometimes it can feel as if there are so many choices that the process becomes completely overwhelming!
This is where an experienced careers adviser can help by guiding you through the process of exploring your
interests and aptitudes and providing you with a clear and coherent action plan so that you can take control
of the next stage of your life.
Education Advisers is delighted to work with Anna Jones, Director of AMJ Careers, to provide a bespoke
service to our clients.
How does it work?
1. You complete an online ‘pre-guidance form’ to give your adviser a clear idea of your current situation and
ideas about the future.
2. You will be sent a link to complete an online psychometric test which will generate a detailed profile report
that presents your individual assessment results to create a clear picture of your personality, career
interests, abilities, strengths and learning styles.
3. Your adviser will then arrange a Skype meeting to discuss your report in detail and then, following
guidance, will send a written report summarising your discussion with action points.
